What is a commentary?

A commentary is a verse by verse explanation and analysis of the Bible. There are some one-volume full-Bible commentaries, but most of our commentaries are single-book commentaries evaluating one book of the Bible per volume. Our commentaries in the Reference Collection are sorted by commentary series and our commentaries in the Main Collection are sorted by book of the Bible.
